Is there race day registration?
As long as the event is not sold out, there is race day registration available.
Are walkers allowed in the event?
Of course! The event is open to runners, joggers and walkers of all levels.
How long will it take to complete the course?
It normally takes walkers about an hour to finish the 5K (3.1 miles) course.
Where should walkers stand at the start line?
Walkers should stand close to the back and allow runners to stand near the front of the start. This allows faster participants to get clear of slower participants.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes! Strollers are allowed. We do ask those pushing stroller to stand close to the back of the pack at the start of the race to avoid being run over by faster participants.
Do I have to pay for my child if they are in a stroller?No. If your child is in a stroller, you do not have to pay for them. Only participants in the 5K and the Jelly Tot Dash have to pay.
Can my unregistered children run or walk with me in the 5K?
No. Only registered participants are permitted to be on the course. Anyone who is not registered has to remain at the start/finish line area.
Can my Jelly Tot run/walk with me in the 5K?
Yes. All Jelly Tots are allowed to run/walk with family or friends in the 5K. Please do not let them run or walk unaccompanied on the course. Please do not let them take a medal at the end of the 5K as these are reserved for the 5K participants. Jelly Tots receive their own finishers ribbon at the end of their event.
Do I have to wear a costume?
No, but we recommend you do, or dress colorfully. It makes the event much more rewarding!
Can I pick up race packets for my team members?
Yes, but please bring a confirmation with you or a listing of their names (and shirt sizes) as this will speed up the pickup process.
I am coming from out of town. Is there race day packet pickup?
Yes, there is race day packet pickup available.
How long is the Jelly Tot Dash?
The first event, which is for children ages 4 and under is approximately 100 yards long. The second event for children ages 5 and older is approximately 200 yards. Please see Jelly Tot Dash for more information.
What do I do with timing chip after I finish?
The timing chips are reused, so please drop them off in one of the buckets / tubs located at the end of the race, or at the registration booth.
